Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta has urged National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members to be committed to the orientation programme to assist them toward actualising self-employment after the service year. This will enable them to become self-reliant, he said. Oborevwori said this on Friday at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Batch B, Stream 11 set at the Orientation Camp, Issele-uku. Oborevwori was represented by Mr Harry Trakiriowei, Commissioner for Youth Development, Delta. According to him, the service year is dependent on the foundation laid during the orientation exercise. “The knowledge you will acquire in this camp will be a catalyst for your purposeful future endeavours.
