  Creation of Anioma state is a win,win for all - Sen. Nwoko Anioma By Ifeanyi Olannye  Asaba, Aug. 29, 2025(NAN) Sen. Ned Nwoko, Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District "Anioma People" at the National Assembly, has said that creating Anioma state from current Delta would positively benefit the people of the state. Nwoko stated this in his remarks on Friday at a two-day "Ogbako-Igbo Zara Igbo Oru Na Ndida", organised by Igbo Unification Movement in collaboration with Ndi Na Asu Bia Social Cultural Organisation with the theme, "Igbo Bu Ofu (Igbos are One)", held in Asaba, Delta.   NG-CARES impacts 1.2m people in Delta -Oborevwori Stakeholders at the NG-CARES,  ‘South -South Independent Verification Agents (IVA) Performance Review Meeting’ in Asaba, Delta State on Tuesday. Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta says no fewer than 1.2 million persons have indirectly been impacted by the Nigeria Community Action Resilience and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) in the state. Oborevwori made the disclosure on Tuesday at the NG-CARES, ‘South -South Independent Verification Agents (IVA) Performance Review Meeting’ in Asaba. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that available data indicated that the Federal Cares Support Unit (FCSU)- NG-CARES, a World Bank Supported programme, has impacted no fewer than 17 million people nationally since inception in 2021.
