  Food By Ifeanyi Olannye Asaba, Oct. 15, 2024 (NAN) Delta Government said on Tuesday that it would partner with Green Revolution Farmers Feed the Nation Foundation (GRFFNF) to ensure food security and job creation in the state. The State Commissioners for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr Val Arenyeka, and his counterpart in Trade and Investment, Mr Samuel Oligida, gave the assurance when the group paid them a courtesy visit in Asaba. Both commissioners acknowledged that the foundation’s vision was in tune with the Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E. Agenda mantra. The agenda aims to create opportunities for all and to ensure food security and job creation for youths, women and persons living with disabilities (PWD’s). Mrs Mojisola Sodeinde, centre’s Head, West African Region, said this on Friday in Asaba, during a two-day advocacy workshop in collaboration with the National Agency For The Prohibition Of Trafficking In Persons (NAPTIP). The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Centre is an inter-governmental organisation with headquarters in Vienna, Austria, with over 20 member states. The centre is implementing the: School Anti-Trafficking Education and Advocacy Project to address the escalating issue of human trafficking in Nigeria.
