Customers week: Delta FRSC counsels motorists on safety measures

Asaba, Oct. 9, 2024 (NAN) Mr Frederick Ogidan, Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has urged road users to ensure regular maintenances of their vehicles before they ply the road.


Ogidan said this on Wednesday in Asaba at the to commemoration of the 37th Customers Service Week celebration.


The 2024 Customers Service week has as its theme: “Above and Beyond.”


The Week is celebrated globally from Oct. 7 to Oct. 11. It is a time to honour and reward employees for their excellence across various sectors.


“By virtue of the services we provide, we want road users to be very focus while driving.


“We are still in rainy season, motorist should not overspeed , they should always ensure that their cars are in other before driving,” he said.


Ogidan said that motorists were always dear to them besides buying number plates and driver’s licences.


“Even offenders of road regulations are also dear to us because when they come to our office we educate them and they become a better person,” he said.


The sector commander said that they would use the week to appreciate stakeholders and staffers for their immense support to FRSC.


“We will use this opportunity to boost the morale of our staff by giving them letter of commendation and plaques for their outstanding contributions.


“We are also reminding our customers to give us feedback on how our services can be improved,” he said.(NAN)(nannews com.ng)
