National Coordinator Special Marshal tasks personnel on professionalism, discipline    By Clara Egbogota The National Coordinator of Special Marshal, Mr Usman Adaji, has charged personnel to strive toward greater professionalism, discipline, innovation and selfless service. Adaji gave the charge on Friday in Asaba during a familiarisation visit to the state. According to him, the responsibility of moving the special marshal to greater heights rests on everyone. “We must, therefore, remain steadfast towards enhancing our operational capabilities in order to effectively secure and contribute meaningfully to national security and economic prosperity,” he stated. He said that the contributions of special marshals to road safety administration across the nation remained invaluable as such, discipline, was the watch word.  FRSC tasks motorists in Delta with proper registration of number plates The Delta State Command of the Federal Road safety Corps (FRSC), on Monday urged motorists to ensure a proper registration of their plate numbers, so as to avoid penalties by law enforcement officers. The state’s Corps Commander and acting Head of Section (HOS) Operations Department, Christopher Kuje, made this known in Asaba, during Inauguration of a special patrol operation, tagged “Operation Guduma” The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the scheme is aimed at strengthening enforcement against traffic offences in the country The scheme also aims at checking practices such as mix-loading, as well as the movement of vehicles carrying unlatched containers capable of causing hazards on the highways. Oborevwori reiterates Delta govt.’s support to corps members

Sheriff Oborevwori  of  Delta says  his administration remains  committed to youth empowerment and support for young men and women in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)  serving in the state. Oborevwori said this on Tuesday at the Closing Ceremony of the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream 11 Orientation Course, held at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Issele-Uku. The governor  was represented at the ceremony by the Secretary to the State Governor (SSG) Mr Kingsley Emu. He assured  the corps members that the state remained  fully committed to ensuring that their service year is safe, productive, and rewarding. “We will continue to support the NYSC Scheme through policies, resources, and interventions aimed at enhancing your welfare and enabling you to perform optimally,” he said. Oborevwore said this at the 2026 Annual National Workshop for Proprietors and Instructors of Driving Schools, organized by the Federal Road Safety Corps.(FRSC) in Asaba.
