Change of date for 2026 batch B stream ll closing ceremony  Asaba  The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Delta State Secretariat, wishes to inform all stakeholders, Corps Members, invited guests and the general public that the Closing Ceremony of the 2026 Batch 'B' Stream II Orientation Course, earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 25th August, 2026, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 26th August, 2026. This was contained in a statement signed by Stella-Maris Ogbummuo, Head, Information and Public Relations Unit on Monday. The statement said that the NYSC Delta State change in date is necessitated by the Federal Government EID_MAULUD Public Holiday on Tuesday 25th August, 2026. The statement said that all arrangements for the Ceremony remain unchanged. The time and venue remain the same.  Tinubu's reforms impacting Nigerians, strengthening development framework -- Ifeajika  Asaba - Mr Olisa Ifeajika, Executive Assistant to Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta on Public Enlightenment (Projects and Policies), has lauded President Bola Tinubu's reforms for impacting Nigerians and strengthening development framework. Ifeajika, who doubles as Coordinator, Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), made the commendation when he  hosted RHA Unit Coordinators in Ward 3, Illah, Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state. Ovie Omo-Agege to focus on issue-based campaign, particularly on what he hoped to deliver to the people of his constituent. Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta has urged the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members to take full advantage of the scheme’s Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme for self-reliance and economic growth. Oborevwori gave the advice on Friday at the Swearing-in ceremony of Batch B, stream II, corps members at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Issele-Uku.   The governor was represented by the state Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Brave Enodeh.
