 Tinubu's reforms impacting Nigerians, strengthening development framework -- Ifeajika 



Asaba - Mr Olisa Ifeajika, Executive Assistant to Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta on Public Enlightenment (Projects and Policies), has lauded President Bola Tinubu's reforms for impacting Nigerians and strengthening development framework.


Ifeajika, who doubles as Coordinator, Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), made the commendation when he  hosted RHA Unit Coordinators in Ward 3, Illah, Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state.


According to him, the meeting was strategic grassroots engagement designed to appreciate the coordinators; councillors, unit coordinators, ward leaders and other stakeholders and to strengthen support for the Renewed Hope and M.O.R.E Agenda.


"It also provided an opportunity to propagate the achievements and programmes of the President Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government and Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori-led Delta State Government".


Addressing the delegation of RHA and coordinators,  Ifeajika said Tinubu's several initiatives are impacting Nigerians and strengthening the country’s development framework.


He said: "Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) is providing students with access to education financing.


" The increased federal allocations to states and local governments, had expanded fiscal resources available for development.


"Also, the ongoing reforms towards the establishment of State Police is aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture".


He commended the Federal Government’s Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) initiative, noting that the deployment of CNG buses would provide more affordable and efficient transportation while supporting the transition towards cleaner energy.


According to Ifeajika, these initiatives demonstrate the administration’s commitment to reforms that directly affect the lives and livelihoods of Nigerians.


In Delta, Ifeajika commended Gov. Oborevwori for what he described as his commitment to delivering people-oriented governance through the M.O.R.E Agenda.


He said the state government has impacted on infrastructure, human capital development, youth empowerment, education, healthcare, roads and social interventions across communities.


He said the Oborevwori's led government has committed to improving connectivity across communities, adding that steps were being taken towards an intervention on the failed Ugbolu-Illah–Ebu road, an issue of importance to residents of the area.


The governor's aide disclosed that state government would soon deploy 50 CNG buses and 50 electric-powered buses for mass transit, describing the initiative as another opportunity to improve mobility and transportation for the people.


He pledged to deepen interactions with the constituents to create a direct channel through which the concerns, aspirations and suggestions of the people could reach relevant authorities.


He assured all stakeholders that ongoing Oshimili North Appreciation Tour of Wards in the area would impact residents, party members and supporters for their loyalty and contributions to the growth of APC in Illah and other communities


 Responding to issues raised, Ifeajika assured that their concerns would receive continued attention, promising to “go the extra mile” in serving and engaging the people.
