"Security is not only about protection of lives and properties from physical harm and destruction but also about promoting the general well-being of our communities.

"Free eye screenings, provision of prescription glasses, testing and treatment for malaria, typhoid, and other common ailments was done to enable access to health care by the people," he said.

He said that the outreach brings essential services such as check-ups, vaccinations, screenings, and treatments to areas often overlooked, ensuring that no one is left behind.

He said that the free medical screenings is a proactive approach to healthcare catching potential illnesses early and giving treatments.

"The free medical outreach is to support low-income families, and those who do not have access to proper medical care," he said.

He urge stakeholders to partner with well-meaning Nigerians to support and sustain initiatives like this so as to build a healthier, stronger, and more inclusive society.

He said that there is need for regular checkups and  treatment of any eye defect in the early stage so that it could be corrected before it gets out of hand.
